About Molescope
Welcome to Molescope Skin Cancer Clinic, located at 256 Hull Road, Mooroolbark, Australia. As a leading institution in skin cancer detection and prevention, we are dedicated to providing top-notch healthcare services for our patients.
At Molescope, our team of highly skilled and experienced Skin Cancer Doctors utilize advanced techniques such as high resolution Digital Photography & Dermoscopy to detect skin cancers. With the use of professional D-SLR and mirrorless cameras and studio flashes, we are able to capture "conference quality" high definition images that show intricate details not possible with computer cameras or mobile phone devices.
Our doctors are passionate about the prevention and early detection of skin cancers. With their extensive dermoscopy skills and experience, they are able to identify very early skin cancers, thus avoiding unnecessary removal of harmless ("benign") skin lesions.
In addition to our expertise in skin cancer diagnosis, we are also happy to review lesions that have been recommended for removal by other healthcare professionals. This is particularly important in cases where multiple moles have been deemed dangerous, or when the mole is located on the chest or face, or when the patient is a child or teenager.
One of the unique aspects of Molescope is that a GP referral is not required to see our Skin Cancer Doctors. You can simply call our friendly and caring staff at 9725 3003 to make an appointment or book online. If your appointment is urgent, please give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate you as soon as possible.
With over 10 years of operation, Molescope Skin Cancer Clinic has served thousands of satisfied patients in Mooroolbark. Our doctors have extensive experience in skin cancer diagnosis and provide personalized care to each and every patient.
Our team of doctors at Molescope holds various qualifications and certifications in skin cancer medicine and dermatology. For example, our doctors have obtained diplomas in Dermoscopy, Cutaneous Oncology, and Dermatology, as well as advanced certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. They are also Fellows and Associate Fellows of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia (SCCA).
While our clinic is currently located at 256 Hull Road, Mooroolbark, please note that we will be moving to our new location at 262 Manchester Road, Mooroolbark starting from September 4th, 2023.
At Molescope, we prioritize your convenience and well-being. During your first visit, you can expect a thorough head-to-toes dermoscopic examination and photography session with your chosen skin cancer doctor, which usually takes around 20-30 minutes. We also offer a discount for Aged Pensioners and children under 16 years of age, so please remember to bring your Medicare card to your appointment.
Our pricing for initial consultations includes a FULL BODY SKIN CHECK appointment, which lasts up to 30 minutes and costs $245, including dermoscopy and photography if required. Alternatively, we also offer a SPOT CHECK appointment, which lasts 15 minutes and allows you to check up to 3 moles or spots of concern, priced at $120, including dermoscopy and photography if required. Please note that Medicare rebates are available for these services.
Lastly, we would like to clarify that Molescope is a registered business name in Australia and is not associated with the Canadian 'Molescope' do-it-yourself device. We firmly believe that early skin cancer diagnosis is a serious and complex skill that requires years of training and experience, along with the use of professional diagnostic equipment.
At Molescope Skin Cancer Clinic, your skin health is our priority. Schedule an appointment with our experienced Skin Cancer Doctors today and take the first step towards a healthier future.

Reviews of Molescope
"They are great. I’ll be back often."
"My wife was left with a large scar on her chest after getting a small mole removed. The biopsy came back negative and the Dr said he was not sure why he removed it?!! Not happy."
"Dr Maged Boules diagnosed correctly a skin cancer on my forehead and removed the lesion, which required a 4cm cut. Having had the 9 stitches removed a week ago, the resultant scar is almost invisible. The entire process from diagnosis to removal of stitches was in my view conducted in the utmost professional and caring manner."
"I've always had great care here. I've had 2 x removals in house I don't understand the reviewers who complain about cost, if you get melanoma you die...you cant put a price on life.."
"I've been attending Mole scope in Mitcham and Mooroolbark. I had a mole that I was worried about a mole. The Doctors have been monitoring it and it's changed sufficiently that they decided to have it removed. The procedure was done in house. It was mostly painless and straight forward. They were very professional."
