Welcome to Save the Children Op Shop in Dandenong, Australia! Located on Lonsdale Street, our institution offers much more than just a typical retail experience. As one of Save the Children's many op shops across the country, shopping here not only allows you to find unique recycled fashion pieces, toys, books, and even vintage and modern-day gems, but it also contributes to creating better lives for children both in Australia and overseas.

Our op shops are run by friendly volunteers who add to the distinctive shopping atmosphere. They are always ready to assist you and make your visit enjoyable. While the majority of our donations are sold through our op shops, some items may not find their way to a new home. However, our partnership with SCRgroup ensures that clothing, handbags, manchester, and soft furnishings donated to our op shops have the opportunity for a second life. If these items cannot be sold in-store, they are either taken overseas to be re-homed or recycled into rags or biofuel.

Please note that we are unable to accept mattresses at our op shops. We rely on dedicated volunteers to help us operate, so our opening hours may vary depending on their availability. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
