Cassandra's post-graduate training includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Family Based Treatment (Maudsley Model FBT) for eating disorders, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Enhanced (CBT-E) for eating disorders, Mindfulness Integrated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MiCBT), and Infant Mental Health and Infant Led-Work with Families. She is also trained in Evidence-Based Relaxation Therapy and Psychoneuroimmunology.

In addition to her extensive training, Cassandra has worked with various organizations, including a Non-Government Organization (NGO) that provides support for women and children affected by domestic violence. She has also provided crisis intervention for survivors of family and domestic violence on behalf of the Federal Government, offering counseling support for the Redress Scheme and conducting risk of harm assessments. Furthermore, Cassandra has experience in Leaving Care case management in the UK, providing support for vulnerable adolescents in the national care system.
