"I have never been let down by the amazing nurses and doctors with all of my ailments over the years. The staff treated my mother so well after major surgery last year. Blessed to be so close to such a well functioning hospital."
"We are Europeans, on a two-month Australian tour. Right in the beginning of it, I needed to go to emergencies to a nearby Hospital due to, to me unknown, severe pain. Dr. MATT DAVIS from the emergency unit of the Prince of Wales Hospital was exceptionally caring, kind and thorough in his approach towards diagnosis and amazing in his aftercare, even calling me to see how I felt, a few days after my visit. This is very special in times of artificial intelligence and unpersonal treatment, the reason why I am very grateful having met with this special person. The hospital is brand new, even to the point that the taxi would not know where the new entrance was. The professional team and equipment gave me a lot of confidence, especially being so far from home on a different continental altogether."
"Visited the Nuclear Medicine & PET Department over a course of 5 days for treatment (24-28/7) and the service from (Bev at Reception to the wonderful nurse's Lara & Kerry) from start to end 10/10 - friendly professional & warm. They should be highly commended for their services and for the wonderful job they do each day. Thank you!"
"I went to emergency for severe pain that I had been enduring for two days.. I had asked four times for pain killers, they responded with someone will be with you shortly… 6 hours later I received some treatment… during the time leading up to this 6 hours I was never checked on, I was provided with no updates… During the total of 10 hours stay at the hospital I was not offered or received any food or water as well.. when I was being discharged I spoke to the lady at the desk to let her know I was leaving and she just starred at me when I said hello and responded with “yes?” I can barely walk and cannot drive, when I tried to get medication the lifts were not working and the chemist was up the other end of the building… Conclusion to my experience at Prince of wales? By far the worst experience I have ever had in a hospital… staff were not friendly, some were even rude, there was no professional courtesy or concern being shown.. my issue wasn’t even resolved… I’m sorry but this simply isn't good enough.. I understand that hospital can be hectic and they can be understaffed but when you see piles of staff walking around have a good old chat and a coffee it doesn’t feel like the are that under the pump… Definitely don’t recommend this dump of a hospital…"
