At Kid Psychology, our founder, Kate Plumb, a qualified psychologist and teacher, understands the importance of helping parents find clarity and better understand their children's unique needs and abilities. With her personalized approach to assessment, support, and collaboration, she equips parents with the necessary tools to help their amazing kids flourish in their community.

The assessment process is often the first step in our journey together, and it can originate from you, a referral from your child's paediatrician, or another important person such as a preschool teacher or therapist. Our support services can be accessed through the assessment process or through a referral from your GP, ensuring that your little one receives additional help in areas such as:

- NSW Department of Education support services: We have extensive knowledge and experience in guiding, supporting, empowering, and advocating for children and families, ensuring they can access the most appropriate educational support.

- Ongoing therapeutic support for NDIS participants: Kid Psychology is proud to offer ongoing therapeutic support for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, providing them with the necessary tools to reach their full potential.

- Mental Health Care Plans for selective mutism and anxiety disorders: We accept Mental Health Care Plans from GPs for children aged 2-12 who require support for selective mutism or anxiety disorders.
