"I DO NOT recommend this clinic at all & suggest everyone to avoid at all costs! Prior to my consultation I had my scan, bloodwork & even my own notes to assist faxed over but on the day she didn’t bother going through any of them & I just ended up having to explain myself all over again. She was rude, very unprofessional & clearly lacked empathy. I have medical concerns that need to be addressed but all she advised me was to “lose weight” even though I’d written on my notes & made clear that I spent months exercising, changing diet & managing stress levels which did nothing to help. The only other “solution” she offered me was to take the pill. My mum had booked my appointment with her & had I known that I was going to pay $200 just to be told to lose weight I’d not even bother wasting my time. She refused to treat me and discriminated me on the grounds that my husband wasn’t present with me on the day despite all my results indicating a medical problem that’s linked & only related to me. She also didn’t bother to go through ANY of my results with me & missed the fact that the scan report indicated I have a fibroid until I pointed it out to her. Towards the end of the consultation I couldn’t help but burst into tears with how hopeless she made me feel & the extremely uncomfortable experience I’ve just had with her. This was all new and especially strange to me since all the specialists & in particular gynaecologists I’ve seen in the past have been, precisely, the opposite. She had zero concern, lacked empathy, sounded very condescending & was not offering ANY solutions despite the sensitive nature of the issue. While I was in tears she kept questioning as to why I had come to see her & that I should’ve instead gone to see other specialists. Overall she kept going on in tangents. I am traumatised by the experience I’ve recently had with her & would never go back there ever again nor would I recommend any of my family or friends. I paid $200 just to feel even more hopeless. It’s okay because they can keep it as charity money but I thought I’d share my experience so other people can make more informed decision especially when choosing to receive treatment. After much thought and discussion I have decided to take this up further & report her to relevant agencies for the way she’s handled my situation."
