Operating Monday-Friday from 7am-5pm, our GenesisCare centre at Macquarie University Hospital specializes in cancer care services, including radiation therapy and allied health support. Our center is staffed by a passionate and supportive team of healthcare professionals with extensive experience in oncology. This team includes radiation oncologists, registered nurses, radiation therapists, physicists, and a dedicated support staff.

We strive to offer rapid access to consultation and treatment in a comfortable, modern, and relaxing environment. Our radiation therapy techniques utilize high energy X-rays or other particles to treat cancer at all stages. These techniques include External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Stereotactic Ablative Radiation Therapy (SABR), LDR Brachytherapy, Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, fiducial markers, and specialized non-surgical treatment for skin cancer.

In addition to radiation therapy, we also provide a range of Allied health services tailored to support your needs. Our team will discuss the most suitable options with you, which may include exercise programs designed by an exercise professional. Research has shown that tailored exercise programs, incorporating both aerobic and resistance training activities, can provide significant benefits for people with cancer.

When visiting GenesisCare, Macquarie University Hospital, you can conveniently park on-site in the secure basement car park accessed by turning off Research Park Drive. We also offer parking packages during your treatment. For those using public transportation, Macquarie University train station and bus interchange are located just two streets away on the corner of Herring Road and Waterloo Road.
