Welcome to Busy Bees at Altona Meadows! Located on Point Cook Road, our institution is a warm and nurturing learning environment for children aged birth to 5 years. Our purpose-built facilities are designed to provide educational play spaces and dedicated Educators who are committed to helping your children grow.

Our funded Kindergarten program is led by two Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers who are dedicated to preparing your child for their next big steps in school. We work hand in hand with you to ensure a successful transition to school. Our child-led curriculum is designed to build confident and active learners, combining school readiness with experiences that foster social and emotional development.

I am Angela Robinson, the Service Manager, and I have been working in the Early Years Education and Care sector for 10 years. I strongly believe in Vygotsky's sociocultural theory and that children learn best through meaningful social interactions. Embracing children's views and choices in their own development is important to us, and we strive to provide them with the best start in life.

Our programming and planning style is based on children's interests, family involvement, cultural inclusion, and the Rights of the Child. We are committed to embedding the United Nations' Rights of a Child in all of our practices as Early Childhood professionals.

Outside of work, I enjoy physical activity, cooking, and exploring the beautiful state of Victoria. I am excited to get to know more about this state and the community surrounding Altona Meadows.

Since the change of ownership, the centre has undergone positive improvements. Our staff is fantastic and loved by the children. The centre is clean and equipped with great resources for the children and families.
