"Went to this school from prep to year 6, i always thought the school was bad but it was pretty good overall now that im in year 11, i started in 2012 and finished in 2018 and i wonder what the other people in my year 6 class are doing now For anyone that is finished then its Liam"
"I love how teacher greet parents in main gate. They helped my daughter to settle very well in prep. School environment is so welcoming and admin/teachers are friendly."
"This school was a great school. All the teachers were kind and helpful. I attended this school 2 years ago in grade 6 in 2020. They cope with Covid quite well. We were taught well and most of the teachers weren't overly strict. I have looked through the other review and saw someone stating that the teachers didn't allow the student to the toilet. Well yeah, it depends on the situation. If it is like halfway through the period, they need to go to the toilet and the teachers don't allowed them, that is wrong. But the teachers there aren't like that. They had warned them already if you just come in from recess or lunch, and they ask to go to the toilet, of course the teacher is going to say no. It's the student's fault for not going before. They do this because they are going to miss out the teacher's explanation on the subject they are doing. They care about the student's intelligence and their work. Staff are really nice and the care for the students. The place is a fun school to always look forward to go. Bye :>"
"My son has had a terrible time transitioning from kinder to prep due to severe separation anxiety and grief and bellbridge has honestly gone above and beyond with helping me. Bellbridge has helped me access child services that I couldn’t have found alone, They have also changed my sons table to his liking with all his favourite things and the teacher and staff members always have something to show him to make his morning, they have always done the best of there abilities to make him feel safe and cared for. Everyone is always so surprised to hear how much support and help they have been giving as no where else would do what they have done for me. I wouldn’t change this school or the people working there. I am forever grateful for the principle, assistant principal, teachers and all staff members that make me feel like I’m still doing a good job when I come in with 4 kids looking like roadkill, I couldn’t keep coming in every morning and doing this without there encouragement and support."
"I am now in my 20s. I attended Bellbridge from Prep to Grade 2 in the years 2002/2003/2004. I don't know what it is like now, however I do have some Interesting and somewhat sad memories from back in the day. Actually, the "rumours" about the teachers not allowing students to go to the toilet during class are not rumours at all. This ACTUALLY happened and I actually developed a serious chronic bladder condition called Interstitial Cystitis because of this. I still have this condition. I remembers being in class and asking on many occasions "Miss Broomhall, may I go to the toilet?" And you'd be berated straight away. The teacher would say "YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO GO DURING RECESS!" And she'd not let you go. This was just straight up abuse. When I think about it now, I cringe at the thought that adults have no idea how to take actual care of children and how many of them are the cause for chronic illnesses? Another sad memory is our Italian language teacher Signora Vella. This woman psychologically and mentally abused me for three years. I believe in the early 2000's there just wasn't enough compassion and love for children. We were treated as if we were in the military or something."
