As the Centre Director of Goodstart Hoppers Crossing Deloraine Drive, I, Kelly Domeney, bring over 25 years of experience in the childcare field. Holding an Advanced Diploma of Children's Services, I have worked in various roles at different centres, and I have been a Centre Director since 2010. I am proud to work for a not-for-profit service where any profits are reinvested to improve our early learning resources, facilities, and staff training.

Working with children is a truly rewarding job, and I am constantly inspired by the children, families, and educators who motivate me to be the best version of myself. Being part of an amazing team, I am dedicated to supporting children and families to ensure we provide the best possible care.

Our centre is conveniently located just off Hogans Road, behind the IGA supermarket, making it easily accessible for families in the Hoppers Crossing area.

"Unfortunately the 6 weeks my daughter were there were not enjoyable. Most staff look stressed at all times, communication is very poor with no accountability, no regular updates or photos on app. We had 3 updates in 6 weeks and loads of excuses. Unfortunately, when we tried to voice concerns the director and some staff were very dismissive and monopolised the conversation with there stories/feelings which were irrelevant."

"My little 3 year old started in January as being in lock down for almost 2 years my little one did not want to leave my side so we decided to send him to daycare to help now thus daycare Center is I say one of the best the staff at good start are a fantastic team they helped my young one settle in with a breeze he is also a very very fussy eater and in the past month he will try to taste different foods and that’s all to do with the way his teacher approaches him before he started daycare we could not get him to drink water at all but yes he is slowly drinking water even at home the Center is very clean. And the kinder room is great he loves going every day a big difference to a boy who would not let me out of his sight and it’s all to do with the way the staff have help him the are very strong on all cultures which is great to see thank you good start I would Encourage anyone that needs daycare to check Deloraine Street good start out first you won’t regret it"

"Worst experience. Business motive center management. Misleading staff. No proper update on kid’s development. Their child management website is only database of child, family info and finance matter on front page with red bold letters if due. I did follow many times about child development and meal . All they said was, we will post update soon or Staff will be updated with concerns. They have only section for meal plan and posts about development but blank .. hope this is sufficient for parents to decide."
