"Dr Shammas is an absolute God sent. I delivered my first Bub last week and knew I had to write a review for her as soon as possible because she had such an impact on me. I cannot fault Dr Shammas my entire pregnancy. She was so knowledgeable, thorough and caring and I couldn’t ask for anything more in an obstetrician. I always knew my baby was safe with her and she constantly reminded me that it was her baby until she handed it over it to me during delivery. As a first time mum I had so many questions every appointment and she was extremely patient with me and answered all of them. I was also petrified of the delivery but she always reminded me that I would be well looked after in the delivery room and she would help me get through. This definitely put me at ease. In saying this, Dr Shammas truely shined in the week I delivered my baby. Dr Shammas was extremely thorough to notice some key red flags and decided to induce me. I had quite a difficult labour due to many factors making me extremely scared about the well-being of my baby. When Dr Shammas walked into the delivery room I felt a sense of relief and as if a guardian Angel had walked into the room. Dr Shammas could tell my husband and I were so scared and so she held my hand and reassured me that everything was going to be okay. During active labour, Dr Shammas remained positive and determine in all the chaos and even managed to make light hearted jokes with my husband and I to calm us down. She was so reactive to any hurdle that came her way during the labour and acted immediately. She was able to save my baby who was under so much distress during the labour and delivered her safety with her intelligence and incredible years of experience. Not to mention Dr Shammas also came and visited me twice in the hospital post pregnancy to check in on me and my healing. I feel such a personal attachment to Dr Shammas as she was able to bring me the greatest gift during a labour that was so difficult. I am devastated that I don’t have the pleasure of seeing her frequently for our check ups but I will definitely be back for my future bubs and have made sure I recommended her to friends and family thinking of starting a family. Thank you so much again Dr Shammas. You are such an incredible person and deserve all the success that life gives you."

"Being a first time mum with a heart condition and only one fallopian tube, I needed to ensure i was in the best of care when it came to choosing a OB. After doing my own research and reading up on many talented Dr’s, i came across Dr Nasreen Shammas. Immediately after viewing her website and reading her bio and viewing her warm and inviting profile, something in me was drawn to her and i needed to meet her in person. After meeting with Dr Nasreen Shammas, i was so comfortable and relaxed that i felt that i had known her for years. i was greeted with a warm inviting smile, she made me feel so comfortable; felt like i have known her for years. At my consultation, we had an open thorough discussion about my underlining conditions and concerns, and how i really wanted a natural birth, no epidural and no c-section unless the baby or I were in danger. Dr Shammas had gained my trust with her knowledgeable responses, explaining her experiences of clients with similar conditions and how her pregnancy plan was designed for me, stating “ that baby is mine until you deliver, and i place him on you”. Allowing me to be at ease with every step, to ensure that my baby and I are in good health and stress free throughout my pregnancy. January 25th 2023 at 5:30am my water broke, the rush of excitement had taken over. I had called Sydney South West Private at 9:00 am and advised to come in, as my contractions began at 30min apart. They notified Dr Shammas and she had come in and checked on me by 9:30am. By 3:00pm Dr Shammas was advised to come and deliver, as now i had dilated 8cm. Once she arrived I was ready to push, as i had now dilated 10cm and he was ready to come out. As i was pushing the baby’s heart rate had dropped dramatically and Dr Shammas was quick to take into action and reposition the baby’s arm for me to push with ease and ensuring the safety of delivery with no rips. Overall i will definitely be ensuring she is my OB for the rest of my life. I truley love and respect her, and she is amazing at what she does!"
