Koomail Tardy Community Centre

Welcome to the Koomail Tardy Community Centre, located at Truganina, Alcock Road, 117 in Australia. As a newly opened establishment, we are excited to provide a space for you to connect with your local community and access the services you need.

The Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation, the recognized Traditional Owners, collaborated with the Council to establish the center's name. The name 'Koomail Tardy Community Centre' was officially recognized by the Victorian State Government on 10 March 2022.

At Koomail Tardy Community Centre, we offer a diverse range of programs and activities for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Our modern facilities are designed to support children and young families in our growing city.

As we continue to establish ourselves in the community, we will be expanding our services and opportunities over the coming weeks and months. Some of the services we provide include (but are not limited to):

- Managed by Council's partners, Early Childhood Management Services (ECMS)

- Part of Wyndham City's $24 million Truganina South East Community Precinct Masterplan

- Construction underway for the adjoining Active Open Space reserve area, which will feature various amenities

- Project funding partners include the Victorian State Government

Wyndham City Council acknowledges and respects the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first Peoples of Australia. We specifically recognize the Bunurong and Wadawurrung Peoples as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which Wyndham City operates. The connection of these Peoples to the Werribee Yalook (river), creeks, stars, hills, and red clay of this Country is deeply valued. We pay homage to their Ancestors and Elders, who continue to care for Country and community today and for future generations.
