Welcome to Viewbank Early Childhood Centre, an independently owned and operated institution since 1997. Located in Viewbank on Bannockburn Road, our center is a point of interest for families seeking high-quality early childhood education and care in Australia.
At Viewbank Early Childhood Centre, we pride ourselves on our unique multi-age structure, which we call "family grouping." This structure encourages children of different ages to freely interact and learn from one another. We have two family grouping rooms, offering a three-year-old kindergarten program and a four-year-old government-funded kindergarten program.
What sets us apart from other centers is our belief in allowing children to move freely throughout the facility. While intentional teaching is an important aspect of our program, we also value the child's ability to initiate or join in play across the center. This approach nurtures their decision-making skills and fosters their social and emotional development.
By mixing different age groups, we enhance the diversity of our center, enabling us to capitalize on each child's unique experiences, abilities, and knowledge. Our aim is to provide excellence in service, innovation, and leadership to meet the needs of both children and parents.
We firmly believe that children learn best when they are actively involved in their learning and fully engaged with their environment. That is why at Viewbank, we have created a safe and stimulating environment where children are free to explore and discover.
