At Journey Wallan, we pride ourselves on creating a warm and welcoming environment for your little explorer. Our centre is thoughtfully designed with spacious rooms filled with amazing resources to stimulate your child's imagination and curiosity. Step onto our patio and you'll find our newly renovated outdoor play space, complete with a bike track and water misters for endless fun. Our massive fort, complete with its own slide, nestled among native gardens, provides the perfect space for little adventurers to let their imaginations run wild.

In Wallan, community plays a big role, and we embrace this by inviting local organizations such as Wallan Fruit and Veg, FES (Fire Equipment Service), and the Police to our centre on a regular basis. These interactive learning experiences, along with our Kindy Groove music and dance program, create a dynamic and engaging environment for our little adventurers. We also organize regular date nights and family breakfasts inspired by Wholesome Child, fostering a sense of community and connection.

Transitioning to school is a major focus for us, and we work diligently to ensure a smooth process. Our safe and secure environment nurtures confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self in preparation for the school journey ahead. Our Kindergarten classrooms are intentionally designed by our Teachers to align with the Journey Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Curriculum. Led by ACCEQA approved Early Childhood Teachers and Qualified Educators, our Government Approved Funded 3 and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten Classrooms provide ongoing support for children enrolling in our 4-Year-Old Kinder Program through our School Readiness Program.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Brooke, the Centre Manager at Journey Wallan. With over a decade of experience in the early childhood industry, I am passionate about bringing Journey's values and our centre vision to life. I hold a Diploma in Children's Services and am currently working towards my Advanced Diploma. Since joining Journey in October 2018, I have cherished every moment and look forward to meeting you and showing you through our wonderful centre.

We believe that nature is the greatest teacher, and that's why nature-based play is an integral part of our curriculum. By encouraging outdoor exploration and play, we teach children vital life skills such as confidence, independence, exploration, and cooperation. Playing outside also promotes health and wellbeing and instills a sense of respect for the environment.
