Welcome to Brighton Kids, the premier childcare institution located at Brighton East on Nepean Highway. We understand that leaving your child behind when you return to work can be a daunting experience. However, at Brighton Kids, you can rest assured that your child is in good hands. Our dedicated and trustworthy carers and educators take the time to personally get to know each child and family, providing the best care during their crucial early years of development.

Our childcare centre is a beautifully refurbished home that has been newly renovated, creating a warm, inviting, and stimulating environment for your child. With dedicated play areas, meals and sleep areas, as well as an outdoor playground and garden, our facilities are designed to cater to your child's every need.

Following the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework & My Time, Our Place Framework, our curriculum focuses on play-based learning. We encourage your child to develop their natural creativity and imagination, while also fostering bravery, confidence, and independence.

As a local institution, we actively support the Brighton community through regular excursions to nearby sights. Your child will have the opportunity to explore local attractions, parks, and amenities, getting to know their local butcher, baker, and even the baby-cino maker.

At Brighton Kids, we cater to children from as young as 6 weeks old up to 5 years, preparing them for kinder. We have designated rooms for each age group, including the Babies Room (6 weeks to 12 months), Waddlers Room (12 months to 2 years), Toddlers Room (2 years to 3 years), and Kinder Room (3 years to 5 years).

Our fees are currently set at $140 per day per child, processed through direct debit on a weekly basis. This fee includes nappies, wipes, bedding, 5 meals per day, milk, and incursions/excursions. To determine your eligibility and subsidy amount, please apply through the Family Assistance Office.

As the founder and director of Brighton Kids, I am Kate Wallman. I am not only a single mum to my beautiful daughter Harlow, but also a Brighton local and a childcare educator with over 23 years of experience in the industry. Having managed various types of childcare centers, I wanted to create a place that values old-school childcare principles, where love and affection are the norm, children learn through play, and they feel at home with caring educators who truly understand their individual quirks.
