"It's a lovely garden to spend time with family."
"This playground is not bad, but it is pretty average in terms of size and play areas. The whole area is quite small (~10-15 minutes to go around the whole place). The biggest downside is the absence of toilet around the place. With kids, this is an important factor. Also there is no clearly marked parking. So I had to to do a circle around to realise that few pockets is the only parking option"
"Great park to walk around. The walkways are unsealed and may cause a slip hazzard. The bridge has lips on each side that can trip one up. Has stable wood sealed lookouts for your pleasure. There is a BBQ and two sets of tables and chairs to sit down for a picnic. Play equipment is in great condition and also has a ping pong table for a game or two."
"Very pretty little park with a duck family, small family, a playground, some tables and benches great for a picnic, a wooden bridge over the pond and fragrant flowering trees surrounded by beautiful houses on all sides. Lovely scenic place for a stroll."
"Always like coming here, especially after the upgrade that makes it even more inviting. There is a new playground that has all the usual popular items plus a few interesting new ideas like the table tennis table that is set a little lower for kids. There is a swing for the disabled as well. A new covered barbeque area, plenty of seating and a water fountain for drinking plus at the base a spot for water for your furry friends. There are plenty of ducks around the area, often with their ducklings so be careful. There are nice shady areas to have a picnic under and you can access both sides of the lake via a bridge. Note that the City of Whittlesea has put a sign up at the lake (well pond really) to say that the lake is currently experiencing water contamination, but also to not handle any ill or dead water birds. It also discourages people from feeding the ducks. But also that the Council is 'continuing to restore water quality'. The 564 bus drops you right at the park so it has easy access. Wheelchair friendly. Good on streeet parking around the park."
