Eastwood Village Medical Practice offers a comprehensive range of services, including home visits for regular patients and nursing home visits in the area. Our patients mainly come from the suburbs of Eastwood, Ryde, Epping, Marsfield, Carlingford, West Pennant Hills, Meadowbank, Chatswood, Hornsby, Burwood, Ashfield, Strathfield, Lidcombe, and Auburn.
Parking is easily available near our clinic at Glen Street Council Parking, just a couple of minutes' walk away. We also offer disabled parking right outside our doorstep for added convenience.
We are a bulk billing medical centre, meaning that our doctors accept payment for their services at Medicare rates. For the patient's convenience, we send all service billings directly to Medicare on their behalf. The majority of our services are covered by Medicare, including various treatments and procedures. However, please note that not all services are covered, and out-of-pocket charges may apply. We accept payment via HICAPS, EFTPOS, credit card, and private insurance payment plans.
Our team of qualified General Practitioners in Eastwood is able to provide a comprehensive range of services, including paediatrics, Implanon insertions, baby health checks, minor surgical procedures, women's health, antenatal shared care, chronic care coordination, vaccinations, and travel medicine. We also have specialists providing Psychology, Physiotherapy, and Pathology services onsite. Additionally, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Respiratory, Vascular Surgery, and Radiology Services are conveniently located in the same retail complex.
We are open from 8am to 6pm every weekday and from 7:30am to 2pm every Saturday. In light of the rapid spread of Omicron cases in Sydney, we are now offering telehealth consultations for all patients, including those with COVID-19 symptoms and those requiring self-isolation. Our compassionate doctors will assess your situation and arrange additional consultations if necessary.
Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that the 2023 Public/Government-Funded and Private Flu Vaccines are now available to all individuals aged 6 months and above. We also offer COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics, providing Pfizer, Moderna, and Pfizer kids' vaccines for children aged 5-11 years old. To book your vaccine appointment, please use our convenient online booking system, as phone bookings are currently unavailable due to the high volume of calls.

"I am writing about an appointment that I had with Dr Yvonne Wang from a few months ago. I went to her as a new patient to get a referral for a specialist. Her attitude was a quite apathetic and ill mannered which I tried to understand because working as a GP is exhausting and everyone has bad days. It wasn't until I went to see another GP for a second opinion after her, because I simply wasn't satisfied with the care I received, I realised how awful her practice was. 1. She took no initiative. When I went to the other GP he overall had a better attitude and also measured my heart rate and asked a bunch of questions about my symptoms and condition. With Dr Wang, she simply went to HealthShare and found a random specialist and made the referral. 2. The drastic difference between the referral which she typed up and the other GP. The other GP had gone in depth about my reason for seeing them, the symptoms and struggles I had. As well as greeting the specialist with "thank you for seeing (my name)". Dr Wang's was one sentence just identifying the health condition. She had no decorum when addressing the specialist. 3. She only referred me to one option and the reviews for his practice were all that he was "unprofessional" and "clearly only doing it for the money". The other GP printed three referrals for different specialists as he knew that not all of them might have an availability and who is more locationally convenient for me. Overall, I feel that I had received low value care from Dr Wang. Thank you for the work you have done for the community Dr Wang and GP practice is difficult and I understand. But there will be other patients like me who might seek your practice and are at their most vulnerable state and your attitude, initiative and, care *do* affect our treatment and health journey."
"My daughter was a new patient and we had a great experience with Dr Daniel. He was so patience, calm and made us feel comfortable. My questions answered in a polite way. He wasn’t in rush (so important for me) and gave his time to us to review my daughter’s wound. I work in hospital and I’m really sensitive about infection control. I would say Dr Daniel took every precaution. He was friendly with my daughter which is a key when we deal with kids. To be honest when I saw him I thought he is young and doesn’t have experience but I was wrong. The only thing that was really annoying at practice was music which was so load and had an opposite effect. The music wasn’t suitable and gave me a headache. All in all I have no hesitation to recommending Dr Daniel to anyone. I am very satisfied with the quality of his care and support at the first visit as a new patient."
"Me and my husband have visited this clinic in last three years. Now we’re moving to other place and searching for a new clinic,then I realize how good Village Medical Practice is and I need to post it to everyone. 1. It’s bulk billing still. You don’t find many bulk billing clinics nowadays. 2. Acceptable waiting time. If your appointment is either early or late in the day, like 8-9am or 4pm, they are very on time. 3. Doctors are caring and professional. I visited three different doctors, all very nice! I trust them."
"I have been visiting this practice for the past 10 years. Reception staff and nurses are always friendly. Even though they are always fully booked on the day, they are able to fit me in an appointment when I am in urgent needs. Doctors are very professional and attentive. They listen to my issue and give me very clear explanations. "I recently had a highly unpleasant experience with this business that I booked through Hotdoc. Initially, my appointment was confirmed, but just 10 minutes later, I received a call informing me that my file had been transferred to another practice without my consent or knowledge. This sudden change without any explanation left me shocked and confused. When I called the receptionist to inquire about the situation, she casually mentioned that the booking was full, even though I could clearly see available slots on the booking platform. To my disbelief, she laughed and made a dismissive comment about how I couldn't come in anymore. Apparently, this decision was made based on a complaint from my husband, which has nothing to do with me or my appointment. I have been a patient at this practice for the past five years, and I am deeply disappointed by the treatment I received. This incident feels like a clear case of discrimination. In response, I have reported the owner, Jennifer Chan, to the medical practitioner complaint portal. In my opinion, one star is too generous of a rating for this business; it deserves zero stars. Furthermore, I have noticed that the doctors here generally exhibit rude behaviour and often rush through appointments to maximize their earnings. This blatant disregard for patient care is evident and deeply concerning. As an 82-year-old lady with several health conditions, I expected to be treated with compassion and respect. Unfortunately, this practice has failed to meet those expectations. My husband will be filing a separate complaint about this matter as well. It is disheartening to see how this practice treats its patients, especially those who are vulnerable and in need of medical attention. I strongly advise others to consider alternative options that prioritize patient care and respect."
