In addition to the Council services, the Laverton Community Hub is proud to house a health center operated by Cohealth. Everyone is welcome to visit this facility and participate in the community events we organize throughout the year. This makes our hub a central meeting place for culturally diverse communities, fostering opportunities for learning and sharing.

The construction of the Laverton Community Hub was made possible through the combined funding of Hobsons Bay City Council and the State Government, amounting to $8.6 million. Since its opening on March 16, 2013, the hub has served as a valuable resource for the community.

If you are in need of event or meeting spaces, our hub has a range of options available for hire. Whether it's for corporate, community, business, or individual use, we offer both casual and regular bookings. Our multipurpose rooms can be used individually or combined into one large space, and each room provides access to a double kitchen.

For those seeking a recreational space, our recreation room can comfortably seat 36 people. Additionally, our function room boasts polished parquetry floors, elegant velvet drapery, and beautiful feature planters, making it a truly impressive venue for various occasions.

To cater to training and commercial needs, we have a state-of-the-art kitchen that adjoins our function room. This training kitchen is equipped with modern facilities and is perfect for culinary endeavors.

For individuals or organizations in need of office spaces, our hub offers sole or shared offices. Each office is furnished with modern furniture and telephones that integrate seamlessly with our telephone system.
