"I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at the Skechers store located in Birkenhead Outlet. The way I was treated by the manager was completely unacceptable and left me feeling disrespected as a customer. I feel it is important to share my experience so that others are aware of the poor service and lack of professionalism exhibited by the manager. Firstly, the counter lady who assisted me collected my personal information, including my name, email, and phone number, without providing any explanation as to why she needed these details. This lack of transparency was concerning and left me questioning the intentions behind the collection of my personal information. Furthermore, when I inquired about using my David Jones gift cards for the purchase, the counter lady assured me that they were accepted. However, after scratching off the card numbers from both cards and attempting to process the payment multiple times, she informed me that they actually do not accept David Jones gift cards. This was not only a waste of my time but also resulted in the destruction of my two beautiful gift cards, rendering them unsuitable to give to someone else. When I expressed my disappointment and frustration to the counter lady, she was apologetic and sympathetic. However, my encounter took a turn for the worse when the store manager intervened and rudely dismissed the counter lady from the situation. The manager showed no respect for me as a customer and blatantly disregarded my concerns, threatening to call the police and security to forcefully remove me from the store if I did not leave immediately. I was taken aback by the manager's lack of professionalism and disregard for the issue that her store had caused. Instead of taking responsibility and attempting to find a solution, she suggested I contact David Jones customer service to resolve the matter. It was disheartening to witness her unwillingness to assist, especially considering the problem had arisen within her store. However, I must commend the security personnel who handled the situation. Unlike the store manager, they treated me with respect, listened attentively to both sides of the story, and worked towards a resolution. In the end, they negotiated with the store manager and managed to secure a 20% discount on the shoes I had intended to purchase. It was their respectful and supportive attitude that ultimately convinced me to leave the store. It is worth noting that the other workers at the store seemed competent and provided good service. However, I believe the store manager's behavior was unprofessional, and her actions were driven by assumptions and, at times, racial bias. She displayed a lack of empathy, disregarded my concerns, and resorted to threatening me with security and police involvement. In conclusion, my experience at Skechers Birkenhead Outlet was extremely disappointing due to the disrespectful behavior and assumptions made by the store manager. I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and implements measures to improve customer service and ensure a more inclusive and respectful shopping environment for all patrons."

"I love to shop here... their shoes are very comfortable... the stuffs are very co-operative... they have a very good collection in this shop... sometimes there are sales going on and if you shop that time, you can have a great deal... I also get some discounts sometimes for being a member of them which I love... highly recommended!!!"

"I would give 0 stars if possible. Staff weren't friendly nor helpful. I asked if a particular size was in stock and the staff just smiled and stood there. Also not knowing store policy is ridiculous"
