Aquila Sydney City Store

"Excellent service and great shoes. I’ve been buying wearing Aquila shoes for the last five years, and I find them to be a great balance of good quality, luxury and value (note: I generally prefer their upper end of range, either D’Oro or the Blake stitched ones. So don’t have a view on their AQ range). I want to call out the great customer service that I received at the Sydney city store on a couple of instances. First by Sekhouen and the other lady a few weeks ago - I placed an order for multiple shoes, and made a mistake with size. Took them to the store and Sekhouen sorted it out right away - replaced the one she had and and placed an order direct to my home for the remaining ones (which arrived in the next two days). Another instance of great service today by Paris at the store - a last-minute event came up and I needed a pair which was only available in Parra, but wasn’t able to get through to them. Call the Sydney city store and Paris assured me that she’ll sort this out (even though it was not in stock in her store) - she called and secured the shoe at Aquila Parra and called me back when ready to be picked up. Very happy with the service and love the shoes ! Thanks Aquila."

"False economy. Bought my first aquila shoes in 1978, but the 10 pairs I bought in recent years are a shadow in quality. One of them, rubber soles wore out in 3 months to smooth and dangerously slippery in wet footpaths. I called, was given a return label and promised a refund I never received. The rest all looked old after months wear. On the other hand, I own two pairs of Kleman Padror that are indestructible and interminable. Maintaining comfort and appearance after years. They cost me double aquila price but last 10 times more. Sadly, good by aquila, mostly made in China now. Even the Italian ones and Portuguese ones top of the range are not worth the price."

"Worst service u can imagine of by young girl staff with sleeve tattoo on. She made sure i hear that this is premium store like i cant afford it. From now on, this is the shop that i will frequently visit to just try the shoe only but will Never buy again."

"I walk into the store today around 12-1 pm, I went in first and then come to another couple after me, but the lady there didn't even greet me but greeted the other couple. After the couple leave, she went and ask my partner what we need. My partner said to her we looking for a specific shoe and I was turning my phone on to show her the shoe that I'm looking for and this is what she said to my partner “Why is he not looking at the shoe and why is he is on his phone” plus her attitude is really bad. I always come here to buy the shoe for work but I don't think I'll coming back here again."
