"If I could, I would give a ‘’minus star”, extremely discriminatory rude staff and brand not size inclusive. They denied to show me the products even though they had them in the store. Lovely collection but an awful and traumatic experience where the staff will laugh at you when, what you’re trying doesn’t meet their expectations for simple being “over-sized”."

"Decided to visit the boutique at Pitt Street Mall despite the given-pessimistic reviews because I wanted to try and experience the customer service for myself. Hence, the sincere review that follows; I was warmly greeted by Howard - Manager. He was so so hospitable and helpful. A cheerful individual actually. The size I wanted was not available in store for one design I has chosen so Howard quickly arranged for a pick-up from a nearby boutique to be sent over. Danielle, the VIP Manager was a true gem. She was respectful, full of smiles and sincerity. She even offered suggestions and styling tips. She was really good at building the rapport. Thereafter, I met Debbie- Assistant Manager who greeted me with a sweet smile. Definite assets to the company and certainly customer-centric! What an effective team. I walked in feeling unsure and definitely 'alert' due to the several negative reviews I had read about. I went in mentally prepared for the worst but wanted to experience it myself firsthand. But, all in all, I had a very very positive and mega enjoyable shopping experience here."

"We visited the store on 14 May, sometime after 3pm, looking for a mother's day gift with my mum, and was treated to such dismissive and disrespectful behaviour by the staff at every point of our time in the store. One of the female staff members visibly looked at my mother up and down before smirking and voicing a greeting in a deliberate, condescending tone. She then proceeded to make some extremely strange comments about the item that my mum was looking at and continued to shoot us smug looks to such an uncomfortable degree that we promptly left the store. We had organised for an amazing day for our mother to have, and we regret choosing this store to be a part of it as the experience had upset her a lot. This is not the first time we've experienced this sort of service at other Zimmerman branches, and from our experiences at other nearby stores that share such level of brand value & price range, it is certainly unique to the Zimmerman brand. I absolutely adore the designs, having worn them to some of the most significant events in my life, but my attachment to the brand has drastically declined with our instore experiences. We've also noticed how dramatically differently we are treated, as Asian Australians, compared to the white Australians from the moment we enter the store, with hostility & indifference. I would urge that the brand takes a hard look at what kind of people they hire to perpetuate this discriminating culture, and would highly suggest that they revise the values that they look for in the people they hire, or the management that hire such people. We will not be returning to that store any time soon."

"Extremely poor customer service AND attitude received from the short hair Chinese guy on wed 22nd March. Zimmermann should really re-evaluate the client advisers in the CBD store as that really represent the face of Zimmermann. Disappointing."
