For our psychological services, you will need a referral or a mental health care plan from your general practitioner. Without these, you will not be able to claim Medicare rebates for your sessions.

When attending your first appointment, we kindly request that you arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete the necessary forms for assessment.

Initial appointments are typically exploratory, allowing your clinician to gain a better understanding of your symptoms and condition. Based on this assessment, they will then develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.

Please note that there is a fee for the services provided by Norwest Clinic. To inquire about our fees, please reach out to our dedicated team. Medicare rebates are available for some services, provided you have a valid referral. It is important to highlight that Norwest Clinic does not provide bulk bill services, as we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality of patient care.

If English is not your first language, we are pleased to offer interpreter services at no cost to you. However, please be aware that this service is only available for sessions with psychiatrists and not for sessions with other clinicians such as psychologists or social workers. Additionally, this service is only applicable to sessions that qualify for a Medicare rebate. For sessions with third parties, such as insurance, CTP, or lawyers, interpreter services must be arranged and covered by the referring agency.
