For autism and global developmental delay assessments, we offer the following fees: $450 for a follow-up complex problems item, with an estimated rebate of $240.75, and $220 for the Helping Children with Autism item, with an estimated rebate of $120.55. Additionally, there is a separate report fee of $500 for autism/developmental assessment, which is non-rebatable via Medicare and is separate from the consultation fees.

Dr Winston Oo is a passionate general pediatrician who has been trained across the Sydney Children's Hospital network. He graduated from the University of Medicine, Mandalay, Myanmar in 2006, earning a Distinction in Pediatrics. He then completed his pediatric training in Australia after obtaining the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Certificate. Dr Oo furthered his education by obtaining a Diploma in Child Health (South Australia) and a Master of Clinical Medicine (Leadership and Management) - CLAM. He is currently a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Pediatrics and Child Health.

Dr Oo is an all-rounder general pediatrician who is also fluent in Mandarin. He provides patient-centered care for families, ensuring their safety and well-being. He is known for his friendly and approachable demeanor, and he is dedicated to providing excellent care to his patients. Dr Oo listens attentively to families and works diligently to help them achieve the best outcomes for their children. He believes in the importance of a multidisciplinary approach and has experience in assisting children from bilingual backgrounds in accessing appropriate therapy and funding if eligible.

Dr Oo has a particular interest in developmental issues such as speech delay, developmental delay, specific learning disabilities (previously known as dyslexia), learning difficulties, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). He understands that speech and language delays in children are common, and if left untreated, they can hinder academic progress. Dr Oo conducts thorough assessments, including necessary investigations and information gathering from schools, to arrive at an accurate diagnosis. He collaborates with allied health teams to provide the best therapy for children in need.

In addition to developmental issues, Dr Oo has extensive experience in general pediatric issues, including newborn care, feeding difficulties, gastroesophageal reflux (GOR), tongue tie procedures, long-term follow-up of premature newborns, bowel and bladder problems, and healthy weight and lifestyle issues. He also specializes in bedwetting (nocturnal enuresis) and provides successful alarm therapy.

Dr Oo is actively involved in teaching and supervision and has received an "Outstanding Student Teaching Award" from Sydney Medical School, The University of Sydney, Nepean Hospital. He continues to provide ongoing teaching to junior doctors.

In addition to our main location, Dr Winston Oo also serves as a visiting pediatrician at Blue Mountains Hospital, Nepean Private Hospital, and Ryde Hospital.
