"I liked the doctors here, but have stopped going due to the reception staff and introduction of extra fee. I would not mind paying the fee to see the GP but don't want to deal with the non medical staff. I don't understand why they can't get rid of or improve the quality of the reception team. Plenty of other practices around with kind team members."

"Doctor i saw was great, but my experience at this practice was entirely marred by my interactions with the reception desk. The woman who seemed in charge at reception was unnecessarily rude and condescending. It has been a very long time since I’ve had such an unpleasant experience as a customer. And I am a customer! Medico is a business, and one with plenty of competition. The very fact that the feedback here consistently refers to the same poor experience with, I assume, the same person, speaks to how much value Medico place on their customers/patients. If Medico think it’s ok that their staff continue to be so disrespectful to their clients, how can I (or you reader!) have any confidence that this practice will care for my health? If you’re ok with being treated poorly by practices like this, you shouldn’t be! You’re not a number, you’re not of lesser value than the receptionist or practice manager and you deserve to be respected as a customer and patient. Take your business elsewhere! Your doctor isn’t that great if he or she is happy to for their patients to have to deal with staff who are unnecessary unpleasant in their communication style. I’d like to make it clear that my issue is not with a specific situation, nor with Dr Zhang or the lovely nurse I dealt with. It is about the communication style and unnecessary rudeness I experienced when dealing with the reception at this practice. There just isn’t a valid justification for being unnecessarily rude to patients (customers) who are not being aggressive or threatening. The lack of empathy at reception is pretty obvious, and I (and you) shouldn’t need to accept this behaviour just because there have been aggressive or difficult patients in the past. I visited Penrith Skin Cancer Clinic in Kingswood today and had a great experience. Reception was friendly and pleasant and the doctor was competent and empathetic. Take your business to a practice that actually shows they care. Or at least that they can give you a little respect."

"Practice Manager is rude, rather arrogant, unresponsive and argumentative. No idea of how to listen to a patient, nor take the time to understand the problems raised. No accountability. The doctors do not have any experience or willingness to be informed and assist patients for mental health."

"As an existing client I rang to see if I could get a script to cover me over the closure through the Christmas break. I was told I needed to come and see my Dr as no script would be given without an appointment. I was then told there were no appointments available and to ring today (Friday) to see for cancellations, when I rang the answering machine said the centre was closed, so THANKS for that. I now understand why they need to tell people on the answering machine that disrespect will not be tolerated by patients, its because the people at the front end are ineffective and incompetent, it is a shame as the Dr is awesome. So new place for me, thanks for no assistance."

"Ridiculous how these people can call themselves medical professionals, when they don't even care about their patients. The lady's (gatekeepers) at the front desk have the worst attitude I have ever experienced. They go out of their way to make it as difficult as possible to see or speak to a doctor. I'm glad nobody is getting sick this Christmas as well as the practice is closed. If your after a medical practice that cares and is there for the patients then go elsewhere, this medical centre is rubbish!"
