"Beautiful park, could use a few spots for locking bikes though!"
"I recently visited Halliday Park and was pleasantly surprised by the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the park. The park is beautifully maintained and offers a range of amenities including a playground, picnic area, and a walking track. The lush greenery and colorful flowers make for a great spot to relax and unwind. I also enjoyed the scenic views of the river. The park is a perfect spot for a family day out, a picnic with friends, or a quiet stroll in nature. Overall, I highly recommend Halliday Park for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city."
"Nice park very peaceful and secluded and a nice walking track"
"Nice an beautiful park plenty of space for picnics and closed playground but couldn't locate toilets nearby."
"Relaxing water view of Canada Bay and has area for children to play.Great for walking and enjoying natural habitat of mangroves and local bird life. There is no toilet block close by for public use at present but there is a proposal for one which can be viewed on the Canada Bay Council website. Some people bring dogs on leads to the park and follow the signage about pet ownership where others do not. There are no clear physical boundaries(fencing) of where dogs are allowed off leads compared to keeping dogs on leads when using the paths leading out of Halliday Park. This can cause verbal altercations between dog owners which other park users witness which are unpleasant.May be better if Halliday park has better signage about dogs (on/off leads) near play equipment and all dog owners in general following the park rules as enforced by the council."
