"Unfortunately I've had to spend quite a few times in hospital this year. But what can I say about the staff. The Doctors, The Nurses, The Receptionists, The Wardens, The Surgeons, The Volunteers, etc. ( And all the others, Sorry I know there are many others! ) Have been the most Professional, Hard working, Caring staff I have ever found. A Credit to your selves and to the hospital. Just want to say a massive Thankyou. Colin x"

"My first time in Northern Beaches Hospital, I was not impressed of the attitude/behaviour of mostly staff members from the admission staff member to the staff at the counter in level 1 to some of the nurses. One example is the staff member at the admission who chastised me for not wearing a mask but little does she know that I was adjusting the string so that it would fit snugly on my face. How about greeting the patient or your customer in a friendly way, that starts with good morning. I'm sure that will not hurt. The attitude was less to be desired. From there to the person at the counter at level 1 to some of the nurses who are abrupt and who does not smile. These staff members are pulling the nice and friendly staff members down. Lastly, I am very impressed with the professionalism and friendly attitude of the theater staff, from the doctor to the anesthetist to the nurses who assisted."

"I gave birth to my son as a public patient at Northern Beaches Hospital in Feb, 2023. The midwives and doctors were all very nice, kind amazing. Specifically a MASSIVE thank you. Everyone was so supportive and professional and worked tirelessly towards a healthy outcome for my baby and myself. I really did feel like my family was well looked after on our very special day, even though we are not English native speakers. Especially out of the hospital home visits from the midwife. That was really super helpful, and the process was great, which saved my son actually. Then when my son was 2 months old, we got covid, and we were well looked after again at this hospital. We got a private room! I highly recommend this hospital, it has been such a positive experience!"

"I gave birth to my first child as a public patient at Northern Beaches Hospital a week ago, the midwives and doctors were amazing. Specifically a MASSIVE thank you from the bottom of my heart to my midwives Emma and Mathilde and to Dr Candice and Dr Ruff. Everyone was so supportive and professional and worked tirelessly towards a healthy outcome for my baby. I really did feel like I was in good hands and that gave my partner and I the peace of mind we needed on our very special day. I was lucky enough to get a private room for my two night stay which was extremely clean and comfortable. In my two night stay the midwives on shift politely and patiently helped me learn how to properly breastfeed, swaddle and bath my baby. They offered pain relief each visit and made sure myself and my partner knew where the help yourself kitchen was which had food and drinks and the freezer was always stocked with ice packs for pain relief. Once out of the hospital my at home visits from the midwives were great, I once again felt comfortable and they patiently listened to and assisted me with any concerns. I highly recommend this hospital, it has been such a positive experience!"

"About a month ago I rushed into emergency at Northern Beaches Hospital with severe urinary retention pain. The staff admitted me straight away (thank you to the kind angel who gave me her number to go in front of her). From the moment I was there, all the doctors and nurses were just incredible. They were caring, thorough and empathetic with me having to be away from my baby for the first time. A special thank you to Dr Evie, Nurses Isaac and Alice in the short stay ward and the Obs & Gynae team who all went above and beyond. We are so lucky to have such wonderful humans caring for our community."
