"Had my first baby there and it was a great experience. To be honest I was a bit reluctant as it's a small hospital but after everything, I recommend it! My ante natal appointments were easy, on time and I had the same midwife. I was seen monthly by Gweneth and she's lovely. The birthing unit was clean and all the care was friendly and welcoming. I had to come in at 7 months for a car accident related issue, and Dr James was so empathetic, gentle and sincere. I'm a clinician myself so my expectations were high and they succeeded them. My post partum care was also fantastic. I was in my own room and everything was tidy. My husband was allowed to stay overnight. The drs were great and kept me informed. All the nurses/midwives were angels. I got helpful breastfeeding tips from them Thank you."
"Worst patient care. Waited for 5 hours in emergency on 8-Aug-23 and asked to come the next day for treatment. Waited for over 6 hours on the next day 9-Aug-23 but did not get treated and finally decided to live with pain until the injury heals automatically."
"I waited many hours to see a doctor when I was nauseated, had a fever, and had shivers. They took blood, gave me a drip, gave me a mouth swab, as well as a X-ray scan on my chest. Since it was late at night I was going in and out of sleep only to find the doctor just placed discharge paperwork and didn't even speak to me when they could have woke me up. As soon as I asked a nurse to see them, they advised I'd need to wait another 30 minutes. At this point I'd arrived around 10pm/11pm, and it was 4am when I was discharged and told this. Everyone was lovely, apart from this, despite the abuse that was hurled against them that night. Unfortunately I'm still very much sick and unsure what I have so will have to book with a GP sometime this week. If you're willing to wait and you don't come in late at night, your experience will probably be good. Unfortunately mine wasn't good in this case."
"Possibly the worst experience at emergency ward. I should’ve trusted poor review on this hospital and gone to other one. Waited for 4 hours and haven’t seen doctor. We were 3rd in line for more than 2 hours and when I asked the nurse how come 7 people behind our line went in and we are still 3rd in line she sarcastically responded that there are people who are in much grave state then my partner such as cardiac arrest - I saw no cardiac arrest or any patient appears to be that urgent (among those 7 people who went in before us even though they were behind the waiting line) than my partner who was experiencing an excruciating pain with blooding coming her from her ear. The nurse clearly can’t speak english but gives you a disgusting look and attitude when you can’t understand those broken english. By far the worst experience."
