"Great quality-price, specially the Santiago’s cake (great detail with the cross!). Would recommend adding potato slices to the octopus."
"our crave for Spanish taste is satisfied after we come here. Great olives as an complimentary entree, just like in Spain. We ordered typical tapas liek chorizo in red wine (amazing chorizo, not salty, not tough but soft), spicy gambas (great prawn), fried white bait and croquettes. All were excellent and on point."
"If you're looking for a truly fantastic Spanish restaurant in Prahran, look no further than El Boquerón. This place offers a truly authentic Spanish dining experience, complete with an extensive selection of tapas options to choose from. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy interior that's perfect for a dinner for two or a special celebration with friends. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff who are more than happy to make recommendations and answer any questions you may have about the menu. As for the food, you won't be disappointed. Every dish is bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. Be sure to order their Sangria! If you're in Prahran and looking for a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend El Boquerón."
"Cosy restaurant off the busy hub of Chapel Street. They have a huge selection of authentic tapas and traditional mains of paella and meat dishes. It’s very reasonably priced and the portions are decent. We shared jamon and manchego, chicken and mushroom croquette and the seafood paella. The jamon was melt in your mouth and reminded me of being back in Spain. The croquettes were nice and crispy, the sauce was perfect creaminess to go with crunch of the croquettes. The paella was huge, we couldn’t finish it between 3 of us. It had plenty of seafood in it and it was cooked well. Nice bounce in the rice, not too saucy. I had a seafood platter on another visit and unfortunately they don’t do this dish anymore which is a shame as it was amazing. Hopefully they’ll bring it back at some point! The wines were cheap for Melbourne prices and generous pours. Worth a visit for a casual catch up with delicious Spanish cuisine."
"Fantastic little restaurant in Prahan. After having lived in Spain for years before moving to Melbourne, it was so nice to feel back at home. The croquetas were yumm, as were the gambas al ajillo. They sell spanish beer and wine too. Lovely, We will go back."
