"My daughter has been in St Lucy's since Kindy and now she's in year 5! It has been absolutely the best school for her. Amazing team of caring, knowledgable, professional and dedicated teachers and programs that are very engaging - music, art, swimming, sports and the learning programs tailored to individual need. The after school Music and Art programs are run by professional teachers making it a fun and valuable learning experience for every child."
"Drama. Music. Arts. Swimming. Dance. These are only of the amazing classes that are available for all students at St. Lucy’s. I’m floored each time I see our students blossom & shine during these sessions proving what a well-rounded and strength-based education can do for children with additional needs. As a parent of a child on the autism spectrum, I go home each day inspired and armed with additional knowledge as my colleagues are well-trained, kind and dedicated individuals who truly want to make a difference in each student’s lives. My hope is for more families to experience our wonderful community & see their children thrive in St. Lucy’s."
"St Lucy's is a wonderful place to work amongst a dynamic staff of professional teachers and therapists, who collaborate together, leading excellence in education for the students and families in their charge. St Lucy's offers many opportunities as a staff member including excellent PD, growth into middle leadership positions and a state-of-the-art school environment with purpose-built classrooms and facilities. St Lucy's is a supportive and diverse community. One of the top 3 things I have done in my lifetime is follow my vocation to St Lucy's School."
"I started working at St Lucy’s in November 2022. It is an incredibly welcoming and supportive environment where people “walk the talk”. The school invests significantly in the well-being of staff and students alike. Teachers are very well supported in the classroom by the Teacher Aides, who are an integral part of the team that supports students. There is a strong leadership of presence in the school and it is a vibrant and wonderful place to work."
"Volunteering at St Lucy’s Siblings Day was a heartwarming and wholesome experience. To contribute to the learning and development of the students was very rewarding but also supporting the teachers and community of the school was incredibly meaningful. Juanita and the team from St Lucy’s were very welcoming and supported us throughout the day. Time spent in the classrooms with students and teachers was fun and engaging. The school does an amazing job at giving each student the opportunity to learn and develop in their own way. Thank you Juanita and St Lucy’s for a memorable day."
