As we begin our journey together, it is important to acknowledge the GariNgai people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our school stands. We value and recognize their ongoing connections to the land, sea, and community. We extend our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who are present with us today. "literally 1984 they shut down a whole school protest :pensive:"
"Mrs Gilchrist was goated. Hope she is doing well."
"School is too large and there is a lack if attention given to students In such large class sizes, exceeding 35 sometimes. Decent facilities however."
"Couldn’t rate this school more highly. Genuinely caring place with a good parent community. Teaching quality is pretty consistent. Watch out, the famous Trivia Night fundraiser always gets rowdy (in a good way)!"
"Wahroonga Public School is an excellent school that provides great learning facilities, exceptional teachers/teaching skills and fantastic attitude from all students. Wahroonga Public School provides students with many opportunities and activities. It excels in sports, academics, music and general attitude as well. Wahroonga Public School also runs its own spectacular music program for many students if they are interested, and the students in Concert Band are given the chance to go on a three day and two night Band Tour around New South Wales. This school also regularly holds annual carnivals, and every four years it has a stunning show. Every year, students are given the opportunity to go on at least 2 excursions, and years five and six go on two trips to Canberra and The Great Aussie Bush Camp. If you are looking for a school to meet all your child(s)' needs, I strongly recommend you to enrol at Wahroonga Public School. There is no other school like this one."
