"We had an amazing experience. Every mouthful of every meal was incredible and the service was some of the best we have had. Everyone was so friendly and authentically Italian. Stefano was our waiter, was so engaging and he couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The wine list was superb also. We cant wait to go back. The desserts also were AMAZING. "Centonove has been a special occasion venue for us for many years now. We were disappointed on our last visit for a couple of reasons. The steak we ordered (for 2), was missing seasoning, tasted of a lower quality and was sliced at unusually thick intervals. It was cooked exactly as we requested being medium rare and there was a nice crust formed, however it lacked flavour and had a grainy texture. I compared this to the last time I had a steak there which was pre covid and that one was amazing. Perhaps kitchen staff or meat supplier has changed over. The other is the set menu. Whilst $99 for a set menu isn’t expensive by today’s standards, most restaurants have moved away from charging a covid set menu price. All that said, the duck and pasta dishes were tasty and generously portioned."
