"We visited this Cafe for a Birthday lunch for a very large group. The venue is very spacious, modern and offers a good selection of meal choices. From when we walked in to when the left, we could not fault the service, or food. All the staff were attentive, and really went the extra mile for our group. Thank you all, we thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, the majority in attendance were here for the first time and thought it was excellent. Well done to you all!"

"We came here on a whim because of the name, and have absolutely no regrets. The atmosphere was beautiful and the food amazing! The staff working on the night were incredible and accommodating especially when I wanted a selfie with the sign on the door. Will definitely be back!"

"We had our wedding reception here in March 2023 with 90 guests. We had had some coffee dates here earlier in our relationship so knew it was a great spot, and wanted to celebrate in a central location that was a part our story together. Jess (Manager) and team did an amazing job during our event planning and on the night as well. They were flexible as our plans evolved and ran things super smoothly so we could focus on enjoying ourselves. Our guests were really impressed with how professional and friendly all of the wait staff were, and with the quality of the food too. The tomato / mozzarella salad and the T-bone steak were particular favourites. We're very confident recommending Dawson to other groups, for smaller brunch / dinner affairs or for your own events."

"The potato pizza was amazing!! Not overly salty like the pizzas from other places. The rosemary and cheese on the pizza was a perfect accompaniment to the thin slices of Plato. The pizza base was thin and crispy on the outside. Overall great wood fired pizzas! The pasta here is also fantastic, the braised beef ragu was so tender and melting in the mouth, the pasta sauce had great flavour. Fantastic service from the waiters and waitresses, food came out in a timely manner, as it was not busy on a Sunday lunch. Highly recommended!"

"Great lunch at Dawson. Requested a window table which was perfect for my grandma. Everything tasted delicious and our waiter was very nice and attentive. They had a function upstairs which looked great as well for anyone looking for a small intimate gathering. Beautiful decor as well at Dawson. I wish they had a bigger dessert menu though."
