"I am absolutely disgusted by the abrupt and rude attitude from the older lady named Chris at the customer service desk....I bought eggs that were broken I stood there for a while she looked and me and turned away. Then served another person. I was happy to wait as they were there before me. Then she looked my way again acting like I didn't exist ....I said hi how r U. She replied good. Very dry ...even though she was being bubbly with other customers and making convo. I said to don't get why U seem to be acting rude she replied what to you want. I really put it down to racism as I am Muslim and wear the head scarf....not acceptable Coles"

"Customer service by Ruth today on front end was excellent. I went thru self serve checkouts and realised I forgot to pick up an item. She offered to hold off my basket full of goods and allowed me to run back up to the freezer section to get my goods. Only to come back, and she had scanned and bagged all my goods ready for me to return with a suspended docket in hand, she then walked me thru a register and was able to be served straight away to complete transaction. There needs to be more people like Ruth in this line of work. Mature staff members like Ruth could teach a few of these young ones today what customer service is. Well done Ruth, keep up the great work. Coles is lucky to have you."

"Ok while not directly the companies fault Coles in the plaza stinks I mean trying to shop and all I smell is BO there was one time I nearly threw up as. It smelt so bad how can you enjoy shopping experience when the people smell so bad there needs to be rules against coming into the store with offensive smells. Some of the staff smell to a little smell is normal but full blown not having a shower for a month smell is ridiculous come on Coles do something about it."

"One of the worst supermarkets in the area. The deli is awful with next to no staff at any point. When there is staff there's 4 people waiting while they gossip to the customer they are serving. It's not acceptable to wait so long just because the staff member is having a personal conversation with someone else. You can see they are finished serving and just talking at that point. Either call someone up to help or stop gasbagging and serve the other 4 people waiting. The service staff might not care because they're on the clock getting paid to gossip but the rest of us have things to do."
