Reviews
"Ordered on Uber eats, it wasn’t my first pick, my usual restaurant to get green curry was closed and I was desperately Craving it after looking at reviews from places in my area I decided on, Thai on street (lygon st Brunswick), I ordered green curry, rice and vege spring rolls, i ordered at 8:10 and arrived by 8:50 and only 20 mins travel time. When it arrived everything was still hot. Being my first try trying this restaurant what I ordered met my expectation. I would defiantly re order again."
"Best Thai in Melbourne I’ve had. If you like Smokey wok flavours and not-too-sweet dishes, then you’ll like this place. Loads of veg with the meal, simple menu with loads of classics like Tom Yum, stir fry etc… the other thai on the street has a lot more sugar added to their dishes."
"Chicken skewers were average, peanut sauce good (how could it not be) but breast meat isn’t the best choice for skewers - a bit overcooked and dry. A lot of flavour in the massaman curry but the veg to sauce ratio was a bit on the saucy side and the beef was a little bit chewy - overall pretty good though. Pad Thai was okay - good flavour but didn't wow me. Wouldn’t hesitate coming back for takeaway (definitely the go-to in the area if you’re looking for Thai) and the food is pretty good value, but for a sit-down meal there are better options on Lygon."
"Thai on Street, a treasure on Lygon, Brunswick. The food was tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. The service was excellent. The waiter was attentive, friendly and professional. I also notice dogs were allowed there too. Fantastic to see cafes/restaurants allowing this. In Europe and England it is very common to see dogs in pubs and restaurant, as always been. Yet here in Australia the rules are pathetically ridiculous in this sense."
"Stopped by for dinner on the way back from Pascoe Vale. The red curry was flavoursome and quite generously portioned. It could have done with a bit more veggies as there were only few slithers of capsicum and carrots. The signature pad thai was nice, i liked the use of glass noodles instead of the standard rice noodles. Overall we liked the dinner here and would come back when in the area."
