"Used to buy Chinese BBQ there, but the service is terrible! I bought roast duck in whole which always come with sweet soybean paste, but they gave me the sour plum dipping sauce and said they never do sweet soybean paste. Liars! They are not the only BBQ shop in Eastwood. Go to the opposite BBQ shop - they have better BBQ and service!"
"Ordered 3 combo (roast pork, Char Siew & roast duck). Super awesome. Crispy roast park n well seasoned roast duck. Good service too! Will return for round 2."
"Poached free range chicken (貴妃走地雞) is the best in Eastwood in regards of the price and taste and texture. However, you won't be able to get it without making a pre order. I tried to call them to order the poached free range chicken this morning, but no one answer the phone call at all. That is why I give them only 4 stars."
"My sister in law used to buy the special s&p chicken when she was around Eastwood, it tasted great, but she stopped going for a while. I was craving for the special s&p chicken earlier this week, especially the drumstick and so I travelled out of my way just to get there by myself. I ordered the chicken with rice to eat there ($10) and paid straight away - only got a bunch of back bones and some white meat, no drumstick. Which was fine. After finishing my chicken rice, I then went to order a whole special s&p chicken to takeaway home ($14). The non speaking English woman tried to rip me off and charge me $24 for it, I then said I already paid for the chicken rice! She apologised for calculating wrong and I paid $14. The young man then chopped up the whole chicken for me and placed it into 2 takeaway boxes. When I got home, I found out that they had tricked me - they didn’t include the 2 thighs of the chicken drumstick or the wings!!! That’s the best parts!! I was furious when I found out as I went all the way there just to eat their chicken to be ripped off. The chicken was too salty and the shop keepers are just dishonest people. I spoke to them in English too, should have spoken in Cantonese. I will never go back there again or buy any food from them. They rip people off, how can they steal pieces of meat from the whole chicken the customer buys?!!"
"Consistently cheaper than The other Chinese barbecue shops around the area. Their 30% off promotion has been running for almost as long as I can remember. Good quality food for the barbecued stuff. However be aware of their side dishes, sometimes they are not so good. Once got the chicken feet and it was so hard one of my guests cracked their teeth eating it. Fast, no nonsense service can appear abrupt to some people"
