The Y Space

Welcome to The Y Space, located in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia. We are an establishment and point of interest that believes in the power of inspired young people. Our institution is dedicated to providing free and accessible programming for all young individuals aged 15-24.

In response to the challenges posed by the current COVID-19 environment, we invite young people in Western Sydney to reach out and "Call A Youth Worker" for support. We understand the importance of fostering connections, learning new skills, and having fun, which is why we have created The Y Space Parramatta Westfield Pop-Up.

This space, located at Parramatta Westfield, Shop 2168, Level 2, near the concierge desk, has been designed with input from young people to meet a range of needs and interests. Whether you're looking for creative and skill-building workshops or wellbeing sessions, we have something for everyone.

Feel free to drop in between 12.00pm-6.00pm Monday-Friday or 12.00pm-5.00pm on Saturdays. Our programming is completely free and accessible to all young individuals aged 12-24. Look for our distinctive red Y Space signage to find us easily.

We are proud to have the support of the City of Parramatta, Department of Communities and Justice, and Westfield in creating this space. As a Public Benevolent Institution registered as a Charity, YMCA of Sydney Youth and Community Services Incorporated ensures that our focus remains on benefiting the community.

At The Y NSW, we also acknowledge and respect the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which we come together to learn, share, and grow. We pay our respects to the Elders past and present, as well as the young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who carry the torch for cultural, spiritual, and educational practices.
