I’m trying to match a handle from the 70’s and took my old handle and cover plate in and as the circlip type has changed over time I was told that it wouldn’t work as the old one had a pressure single application type clip on it. After demonstrating the difference they told me I could order it in and see if it fitted. No support to try with current stock to ensure it will be compatible."
