Punjab Street Chaat Corner 9 Linden Tree Way, Cranbourne North, Victoria 3977
About the Business
Welcome to Punjab Street Chaat Corner, located at 9 Linden Tree Way, Cranbourne North, Australia. As an establishment, food, point of interest, and restaurant, we pride ourselves on serving a variety of delicious and authentic street food from the vibrant streets of Punjab.
At our chaat corner in Springvale, we have carefully selected the most common yet famous chaat varieties found all over India and make them fresh for you to enjoy. Unlike traditional Indian restaurants that typically serve spicy curries, we specialize in fresh and healthy chaats that are perfect for snacking.
Chaat is a popular Indian street food typically served at roadside stalls or food carts. Our menu features classic chaat dishes such as round hollow puri fried crisp filled with a mixture of mint-flavored spicy water, potatoes, onions, and chickpeas. For an extra kick, you can add Pani or Golgappa to enhance the flavors. We also offer round hollow puri filled with salads, sweet tamarind chutney, and spicy green chutney, topped with a flavorful shell on top of the filling.
If you're looking for something different, try our deep-fried golden brown white lentil cakes covered with yogurt, salads, and chutney. Or indulge in our sweet and savory mixture of puffed rice, sev, salads, and chutney. We also offer thin crispy snacks topped with salads, yogurt, and chutney, as well as squeezed bhalla and samosa served with chickpea curry and topped with salads and chutney.
For a satisfying meal, try our crispy pastry filled with moongdal served with chickpea curry, or our Aloo Tikki served with chickpeas curry and topped with salads and chutney. We also offer North Indian's special bread slices layered in between mashed potatoes, onion, coriander leaves, and spices, deep-fried with chickpea flour batter. If you're in the mood for something lighter, our mix of spinach, onion, spices, and deep-fried with chickpea flour batter is a perfect choice.
Don't miss out on our Bhatura, a type of leavened flatbread made from plain flour, served with chickpea curry and garnished with salads and chutney. Or try our deep-fried bread made out of wholemeal flour, served with chickpea curry.
To make your meal even more enjoyable, we offer the option to add cream to any burger, and you can also make it a meal with fries and drinks.
When you visit Punjab Street Chaat Corner, you can expect friendly service from our team members who will serve you with a smile. If you prefer a quick and hassle-free experience, simply place your order over the phone and it will be ready for take away when you arrive.
But don't just take our word for it. Our customers rave about the vada paav, claiming it's the best they've had in Melbourne. Many also appreciate the great prices and quick, fresh take away service. With pure Indian taste and excellent service, we come highly recommended.
Come and experience the fresh and flavorsome food at Punjab Street Chaat Corner. Our Punjabi breakfast paranthas are a must-try, reminiscent of the authentic Ghar waale aaloo paranthe. We look forward to serving you and providing you with a taste of India's vibrant street food scene.
