"Enjoyed this dinner! Great service, delicious & well presented dishes. Loved the entree Prawn Cocktail, Fettuccine Scallops & Prawns, VanillaSlice amazing. We’ll be back for sure, shouldn’t have put off for so long… local gem in the hills"
"Amazing food, great local spot with wonderful staff. Will be back again soon."
"Get out of the city and take a stunning drive to this wonderful venue, sitting high up with beautiful views from all sides; front & rear decks & great entertaining spaces for functions. When you walk in the entrance, it's like a mini-museum, kids would love it too! The food was magnificent, homemade fettucini cooked to perfection, fresh scallops & prawns with a delicious light sauce; the slow roasted pork ribs were to die for, the steak perfectly cooked to medium rare & the desserts ooh la la, mouth-watering. Kids menu too. The friendy staff with Trish at the helm, make you feel like you're right at home. Chef, David Johnson, lovingly prepares all dishes from scratch, and changes up the menu according to seasonal produce. Do yourself a favour & head up there, it's worth it! Take a romantic get away for Valentine's Day, check out the delicious menu."
"Came here on a Wednesday about 6pm. Aside from another couple, our group were the only ones there (we were a large group, around 20 of us). Like any RSL, you order food at the counter and drinks at the bar. I tried the special - chicken jambalaya, and my husband had the chicken parmagiana. I would say the serving size is small for an average Australian. The staff were really friendly and attentive. I told the lady beforehand that I didn't want a large main so I could fit in dessert and she told me I could always take away. And right on cue when I decided to stop eating my main, she came to me and asked if I wanted to take the rest home. I did enjoy my chicken jambalaya but nothing to rave about, there was a bit of kick to it. My husband liked his parma but not loved it. For dessert we ordered the vanilla slice and pana cotta. The presentation for both was beautiful but taste was meh. Overall its a good family restaurant, I will return to try out the other dishes as they had a wide selection to choose from (few meat dishes, pasta and even goulash!). They also have a kids menu. Weapon enthusiasts will enjoy the display of swords and guns on the walls as you walk in. It's almost like a free miniature museum. There's also a huge tank outside."
"From the moment you get there you park on their newly asphalt carpark, with 2 disabled car spots to the carpark ration is great. They have full access to the venue for all types of disabilities, a graduated ramp wide opening doors both front and back and a proper disabled toilet. The staff are /were amazingly attentive, helpful and accommodating. What a fantastic place to hire for your party or massive get together with a lot of family and friends. We were the band hired for a 50th birthday and it's a great venue to play in."
