"Seats about 40, Wednesday night, 6:30pm, 3 seats occupied, plus our 3. The Owner/Manager has a passion for smoked meat and smokes his own meat. Nacho's had nice meat on top, not minced. Mac N Cheese tasted quite nice. Wings were good, crisp coating, juicy inside. Sausages were slightly spicy, nice. Corn bread was a bit dry. Jerk fried chicken was also good. One point lost for the Credit card surcharge. Everything else was good to Average. It's worth a try, but don't expect too much."

"Glad to have found a restaurant serving great bbq in Ferntree Gully! The platter for two is highly recommended as the serving size is more than enough for two people. The fatty part of the smoked brisket is so juicy, and the sausage is flavourful. Will definitely be back for more!"

"My husband and I were visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this place on a Wednesday night, we were the only ones in the restaurant and we cannot understand why. Everything was perfect. We got Mac and cheese bites, delicious. We had the platter for two and the owner was happy to make substitutions for us and we were blown away with everything. We have eaten at most of (if not all) Melbourne smoke houses and this is up there in the top. The owner has a genuine passion for smoking meats and that really shows in the quality of the food. I can’t speak highly enough of the meal we had and the service we received. Would give 6 stars if we could!"

"When you look at the menu here, so many items are built around the iconic cornerstone: beautifully smoked brisket. From the signature brisket burger, to an awesome nachos platter with the brisket stepping up in place of salsa, this is a slow cooked meat lover's heaven. The family platters are incredible value. A platter for two at another table was easily mistaken by onlookers as the platter for four. With a variety of meats, sides and condiments all in one huge tray. My sons and I sat down and enthusiastically devoured food fit for a king. We'll be back!"

"Just had a delicious meal and was impressed with the quality of the food and the friendly service. Loaded fries were delicious and generously portioned, the chicken wings were very crispy and the ribs were excellent and not overwhelmed by sauce as I’ve experienced in other restaurants. I’ll definitely be back! Comfortable atmosphere and I like the decor."
