"Where is the zero star option? Famous for its crab noodle, this resto is always busy. However on our few recent visits the quality of food seems deterioting much. While we like the noodle and Singaporean-style and ginger shallot sauces, the crabs were tasted not too fresh, the clam dish was way too salty. On this last visit we also found some metal (clip?) on the crab dish. The service was almost non-existant as there were too few staffs. Pricewise, not cheap. About $125 for crab dish, depending on the crab size. Last note, this is the noisiest restorant I've been. The room accoustic is so so bad. It sounds like everybody was kungfu fighting there. Needless to say, this is our last time visit. Never again."
"Been here many times. Service is always a hit or miss depending on who you get. Food is always good, especially the seafood and roast meat. Easy parking at dinner time. Restaurant can cater for big groups. Decor is standard simple Chinese decor, nothing fancy. Complimentary soup and dessert, sometimes you need to ask for it."
"Booked 7.30pm Sat for 7 people. When arrived, they couldn’t find our name in the reservation book. Took them a while to seat us down. Despite requested 4 times to order, only after 20 mins someone finally came to our table. Food was good, but the service was disappointing. A bit annoyed when the waiter always responded to us but always left us waiting and having to ask another waiter because the first one always forget About us and went on to serve other tables. Informed us no more complimentary dessert soup but the next table got ice cream instead. Wonder why."
"One of the best hidden gem Asian restaurants. Serving size is amazing. The Deep Fried Chicken spare ribs in spicy salt is a must as they are super crispy, perfect amount of batter with their own unique flavour. Their XO sauce is amazing as it’s packed with flavour and not runny. The XO sauce goes so well with their pipis and crab/lobster noodles. To top it off their Chinese donuts sticks are always made fresh with an awesome crunch. Lastly, their abalone are big, not over cooked so it’s not chewy. Definitely recommend the abalone with XO sauce and must all try their ginger topping. We’ve been going here for years and it never gets old!"
