"Oh man ... The owner is a funny guy. We felt a bit of pressure from him since we were late arriving due to the heavy rain. But once we got seated, ordered drinks and food ... Best host we've ever had. Food overall was excellent, great flavours and felt traditional. The food was superb, bursting with authentic flavors that seemed steeped in tradition. The Perogi had a rich taste, the kotlety schabowe was expertly breaded, and the cabbage was soft and subtle. It was as if we were dining at a Polish relative's home that we'd never known. Only complaint I had was the price on a few items. You shouldn't need to charge $2.50 extra each for sour cream, onions or bacon. My understanding is that these are traditional condiments with perogi and should be treated as such. Most of the group never had polish before and it was a missed opportunity to showcase traditional food this way."

While it didn't significantly detract from the overall experience, it's something to keep in mind if you're in a hurry. "As a Polish person I'm giving this place 5 stars! The best Polish restaurant in Sydney without a doubt. It's a little heavy on the wallet but you are getting a good size authentic meal that you'll be happy with. I had the żurek (sour rye soup) and pierogi ruskie (potato and cream cheese dumplings). I shall return to try the other items on the menu :)"

"I love this restaurant for many reasons. The food is authentic and delicious. Serving size is filling. The decor is very homely. It really feels like you are invited into a nice polish home for dinner. Highly recommend to anyone who loves polish food or is looking to try a different cuisine."

"It was special to have Polish dumplings and Goulash soup. Some of the dumplings were fried and others were steamed, but both were very delicious and the Goulash soup was also good and warm. The interior of this restaurant is beautiful as there were lots of paintings hanging on the wall like it's Polish style. The owner was nice and fun to recommend us food and drinks. If I were not full, I should've tried the homemade pies."
