Princes Fish & Chips - Kebabs Pakenham 78 Princes Highway, Pakenham, Victoria 3810

"Updated with 2nd visit! Waited 25mins for 2 pieces of fish and a minimum chips. It wasn't super busy in there. The fish was sitting out of the fryer for at least 5 mins before being added to the chips. It had also been fried too long - fish was dry and batter detracted from fish. A minimum chips is a single layer of chips of one of the boxes which is definitely minimal. The worst is that all the chips and the battered fish had a really funky taste. Perhaps the oil hadn't been changed for a while. Anyway. Now I sit on my toilet sick a few hours later. The oil at least smelt better this time around. Appreciate the response but it was definitely bad smelling oil last time and if it's changed each night then something else was very wrong. Thought id give it another go but its now the second time I've been sick after eating food from here. This time I had a lamb souvlaki and the other person eating had fish and they were fine. It wasn't from anything else through the day and by the middle of the night I was on the toilet and all the following day - AGAIN! The only difference being the lamb so is it not being stored correctly then recooked? The fish cakes aren't great either. Had 1 and couldn't get through the thing (about the size of a potato cake). The service was great and the place is like any fish and chip place. It's just the food that's made me sick both times."

"Food is not too bad, but prices are actually a joke. I literally thought they were joking. Seafood pack from here is $78 where I can order the same items individually at Arena Fish n chips for about $55. I know prices have gone up but settle down you're not selling sushi grade blue fin tuna on lygon Street. Its gummy shark in pakenham. Edit: seeing as your acting like you have no clue. The prices are on uber when you have the food delivered. Are you saying uber decides how much your product is worth and you had no idea that a seafood pack sold at your store is $80 through uber. Well you can thank me now and then get the prices changed back to original price and help stop the pakenham residents from being ripped."

"Placed a pickup order and when we got to the shop, we could not believe how clean it was, this is hands down, the CLEANEST FISH AND CHIPS SHOP WE'VE EVER SEEN! The service was great and so was the food (wasn't too oily as some are). Thank you and will be back for our cheat meal again!"

"I ordered 2 wedges and only got one and they said it’s 2 but it’s half empty I called and they said they only put half cause they only get half the money, What should of cost 10 cost me 41. absolute ripoff."

"Over priced and definately under whelming. Absolutely disgusting, both burgers were soppy wet like someone had dunked the rolls in water. $12 wedges equated to 15 measly slices both flake although decent size were dry as leather. Wont be eating from here ever again."
