Reviews
"I paid almost $17 for a grilled salmon dish. For the price, I expected a meal size but it was more of an entree size. It might seem big in the photo but the plate is the size of one of those dessert dishes. The atmosphere of the shop itself was okay but the people next to us were very noisy. The heating was very hot and irritated my skin even when I was just wearing a T-Shirt. I had a good experience last time I visited but this time left me hungry and feeling a bit grumpy and poor. The service was the only good thing, the staff was very nice and patient."
"Interesting system which makes it unique, but the food is sub-par. They also managed to get my order wrong which was weird because the items are laid out quite clearly when you order them, and they weren’t super keen on making the correct order, even though it was their fault for getting it wrong in the first place. The sliders are spectacularly small, like so much tinier than you’d expect, so I wouldn’t recommend those. The mustard dressing they put on the chicken is the real mustard (the one that tastes like chemicals on your tongue) which I found weird because I thought this was japanese food. Everything else is really nothing to write home about but again, I do like the system where you can order a bunch of little things and try bits and bobs, rather than just get two normal main dishes."
"Loved the whole experience dining from a stone pot. The food was warm the entire time. Be mindful, It could burn your tongue initially. We got some drinks on the side, too. If you're keen on trying some Japanese cuisine, it's a lovely spot to stop by and try their dishes"
"Gyoza Gyoza is great value for money. Our reservation was for 9 on a Saturday night and we were the only ones there - which was great. The service was quick and attentive. We sampled several dishes between two of us tallying $150 with a jug of Apple Sake and were left feeling full and satisfied. Highlights were the Chicken Karaage and Yaki Hotate. Apple Sake is a must too. We'll be back!"
