"We were going to the Factory Theatre for a show and thought this would be a good place to eat, but in reality it’s too far away. Certainly not walking distance. Restaurant is set on the outside of Marrickville Metro shopping centre. We booked but there was really no need. There was hardly anyone there. Menu is large and food is simple but effective. Pizzas, burgers, etc. My wife had the Wagyu beef burger, which she enjoyed thoroughly. I had the Buttermilk fried chicken burger which was tasty but the chicken used was not the best quality, which made it a tough eat. Overall not bad though, nice and convenient spot."
"Visited on Easter Monday! Really enjoyed the burger which was juicy and delicious! Fries were hot and crispy. The chicken waffle is also pretty nice and highly recommended :) ordering thru the QR code was easy as well. Would come back again!"
"We ordered pizza which used to be on the menu since we had it before. The waiter didn't say at the time we ordered that their pizza has now changed to pizza wrap which looks nothing like pizza. Why would you call it pizza/pizza wrap when it looks like burrito? The waiter kept insisting it's pizza wrap without acknowledging their big mistake of not explaining that their menu has changed recently when we ordered. On top of it, we waited an hour before lunch menu can be ordered, another half an hour before the food came out. Imagine our total disappointment when the food was served and it looks nothing like we expected when we ordered it. We sent it back to the kitchen as we don't want burrito. Please don't name your menu something to deceive customers and train staff to be better in explaining what's in the new menu. Food - 1, Service - 1, Price - 1"
"Stopped by for a late afternoon lunch, ordered via an app (but not pay?) which seems to be a way of reducing the number of staff (which was fairly minimal) and so a bit anti-customer and pro-profit extraction. The app also wanted my personal information to presumably spam me at a later date (and then lose to hackers). So, not a great start to the process. The wrap sounded good on paper but didn't didn't taste of much and seemed to be missing the nap. sauce entirely, the club sandwich faired better, my partner quite enjoyed it. The food turned up quite quickly so seems like it's mostly pre-prepared and then heated up and rolled out, which reflects in the taste, or lack thereof. Not much of an atmosphere, no music (which, is probably a plus given the selection played at most places) but it's a large space with a high ceiling so felt a little subdued. Overall I found the prices charged a bit steep for what you got in a venue that doesn't entice you or have much of a personality, probably won't be back. It's not bad, but it's not great either and there's lots of competition to pick from in a small space."
"Firestone, the modern Korean cafe and eatery has beautiful interior and good service. We ordered the salt & pepper squid, pork ribs, and wagyu steak on firestone. - Food: 3/5 - took long time to arrive, ribs were dry - Service: 4/5 - Ambiance: 4/5"
