"Wood Property had been managing my apartment for about 4 years. For most of the time during those 4 years, it was a problem free experience and the property was managed well. However, earlier in 2023, when Hannah Thompson took over the management of my property, is where the problems started occuring. Hannah is unresponsive, unprofessional and is very difficult to work with. She did not provide basic information on Victorian rental laws during the rental review period, she did not advise me of damage to the property and somehow signed off on a final inspection, only for me to be advised by another agent that there was damage which I would be fully liable for. I would not recommend anyone work with Hannah and to request another property manager should you be unfortunate enough to engage with Wood Property. Secondly (and mistakenly) I decided to engage the Wood Property sales team to sell my property. This started off promisingly, but again led to more incompetence and unprofessionalism, this time by David Picking. After a whole month of engaging with him to get the property sale-ready, I was advised that basic due dilligence was not done - not even a floor plan or a physical inspection. He then advised me that he is unable to sell the property anywhere near the price range he proposed and I signed off on. It was an entire month wasted, which again was a costly error on Wood Property's part. Thankfully, a competing agent I decided to engage with for the sale was able to exceed the price range proposed by David. I highly recommend NOT engaging Wood Property for either property management or sales. They will offer you competitive pricing/costs, but you really do get what you pay for."
