"I assume the only reason this place is still open is because some of the rooms are privately owned and rented out. I lived there, rented through a reputable agency in the 00's and it was much more like a genuine hotel. It was generally clean, the reception was very open, had a coffee area/vending machine, etc. there was a caretaker and it just felt safe. During my time there it began to attract the odd crack addict and an element of danger began to creep into the environment so I ended my lease early. This year I returned for a nostalgic look and wasn't surprised to see how dirty and depressing it had become, the fact that they are charging people anything more than $30 a night is shocking, the carpets in the corridor are moldy, it stinks and there are blood stains on the wall in the public areas. Some very sad people going through some tough things I bet, it shouldn't be run as a hotel."

"Checked in at 5:30pm only to find room wasn't made up. Stood watching cleaner spray mattresses with bug spray, saw stains on mattress too. Had to ask for pillows & loo paper. After sweeping the room there was still food scraps etc on the floor. Dirty dishes on the sink, mould in the hallway & a constant stench. Woke up each day to the smell of cigarettes, even though we're non-smokers. Only good point was the water pressure in the shower. Only stayed in the room to sleep, ensuring we we're drunk before returning each night."

"The whole building is filthy and rundown. I booked this place last minute and instantly regretted it. The first room I was given had a broken key and when we got in the bathroom was flooded with dirty water. The second room was not much better. Rubbish everywhere and stains one every wall and carpet. The door is held together by screws giving the indication that its been kicked in before. Even with the locked gate I felt very uncomfortable leaving my car in the carpark overnight."

"DO NOT STAY HERE!! If you are a young woman and care about your safety and well-being at all, the hotel looks like a drug den with huge locks on all the doors to keep people from breaking in, and the room we were given was completely different than all the pictures and looks like it was set on fire. The sheets had cigarette burns, the beds looked like they had bed bugs, and the whole place reeked of cigarettes. We left immediately after seeing the condition of the hotel because it was so unsafe and they still charged my card two nights! DO NOT BOOK HERE UNDER ANY CONDITIONS!!! YOU WILL BE SCAMMED."
