"Alway stop here on the way through to Mount View. The new makeover looks great. Cosy around the bar with the fire well stocked"
"Had a easy drive along Tourist Route 33 and we ended up at Wollombi Tavern for arvo tea. We ordered the wood fired pizza and it was really good. Great to see how this placed has bounced back after last year's serious floods. Since we were here, we definitely had to try the famous jungle juice. It was almost as sweet as port and you can mix it with any type of mixers. The wife preferred it straight. If you are up thisway, definitely stop over and have a try."
"Very nice and open place to have some food! Beautiful scenery, especially if you sit out the back. They have an outdoor section dedicated to wood-fire pizzas, which is conveniently placed near the seating. If you are ordering a meal, (not pizza), there may be some issues with the buzzers they provide, as some outdoor tables may be out of range, meaning you'll be waiting longer for your food."
"Stopped on the way back from a drive out to explore the area outside of Sydney. The roads into and from Wollombi were amazing and it was lovely to stop for a quick brew and a game of hoops in the beer garden - even though it was very warm. The pub seemed like a great community location and was very popular with locals - that was great to see. I’d definitely stop again if I’m ever in the area again."
"Great looking pub. It’s hard to believe it went under water last year. Camping closed due to recent flooding. I could just imagine the atmosphere when the camp ground and pub was full. Heaps of room in the beer garden."
