"I’m so impressed by this wonderful little restaurant. The food is fresh, authentic and I’d highly recommend for those who enjoy quality Japanese cuisine. The staff are lovely and the shop is very cute. Best Japanese on this side of town."
"Great hospitality by the front staff (a lady) and good food. The only concern is waiting time as it seems the cafe has two staffs only at the same time. Took more than an hour to have our lunch from arriving to finish. If you are not in hurry, then okay."
"Awesome sushi. Hidden gem. We drove there for 20km on the basis of google reviews and it was worth it. Beef tataki has great balance to make it exquisite."
"Simply delicious. Part of me wants to keep this review to myself, it's that good! Sushi and Sashimi was as fresh as I've had, and I love Japanese food. Just a fantastic experience. Book early though, it gets busy."
"Complete unexpected find, where do i start? High quality fresh authentic Japanese dishes in a casual but asthetic setting. May, her daughter Vivian and the team were just the lovelist and provided the best service and hospitality. The sweet ume sake recommendation was perfect, sweet, refreshing and delicious. The serving vase was so unique, kept the sake cold without touching the ice. The sushi is the closest thing to sushi we had in Japan, sword fish had a melt in your mouth but bouncy texture and just the variety of seafood cannot be found anywhere within a 15km radius.. oh and where do I start with the one of a kind signature volcano sushi? It came with the deluxe assorted sushi and boy am I glad to be introduced to it, no drenching in cream or odd inclusion of cream cheese, just the tasty torched special scallop sauce packed with flavour with fresh salmon and prawn filling. I'm so addicted! The assorted tempura is one of the best I've had in Melbourne, generous serving of largest juicy prawn, fish and great assortment of veggies in thin light batter that is not the least bit oily, served with a light sauce with freshly grated radish and ginger to compliment, and thats just the entree version! By far the best Japanese food in the Eastern suburbs, can't wait to be back and thank you again for such a memorable night, see you again soon!"
