"How great is the Opera house. It is beautiful from the outside and enthralling inside. Of course it can be pricey to get a ticket, but it is free to experience the foyers. Do yourself a favour find an excuse to get inside. It is magnificent. Just look around and listen. Visit at night as well if you can the surrounds are wonderful at night."
"What a beautiful place! We were unable to get a tour but we did walk all around it and inside. There is a little gift shops and plenty of restrooms. Walkable from about every area in Sydney. Beautiful architecture."
"An iconic landmark that everyone will come visit if you visit Sydney. We came here the first night we arrived at Sydney and we visit night and day. You can take metro or boat here. Definitely worth a visit and they have a light show in June which is super cool! I love it!"
"Only put in 5star for architectural purposes. Unfortunately much of the venue was barricaded off but it is a unique and beautiful building. Go to Sydney museum for full history as the architect was not invited to the opening. Great building which all Australians should be proud of."
"The guided tour here is great, with a great balance of the technical and the historical. Really lovely clarity from the guide over headphones and you get a real sense of both the amazing story behind it and it being a working iconic performing arts venue. Sadly, the eating venues were too busy to redeem the walking tour lunch but itβs valid up to 18:00."
